Dear Mr. Hallmark,

I am writing to you from heaven,

A rather strange idea,
I see everything from here.

I just popped in to visit,
your stores to find a card
A card of love for my mother,
as this day for her is hard.

There must be some mistake I thought,
every card you could imagine
Except I could not find a card,
from a child who lives in heaven.

She is still a mother too,
no matter where I reside
I had to leave, she understands,
but oh the tears she’s cried.

I thought that if I wrote you,
that you would come to know
That though I live in heaven now,
I still love my mother so.

She talks with me, and dreams with me;
we still share laughter too,
Memories our way of speaking now,

My mother carries me in her heart,

Grief's Rollercoaster

You break down and cry ... you feel sad, its hard to fight the
peaks and valleys you're facing. Then one day, you wipe your
eyes, stand again and move forward once more  ... baby step
by baby step. You learn how to smile for others ... but it  is
always there (the sorrow) ... always lurking just around each
corner ... you learn how to hide from it, to avoid those twists
and turns. You want everyone to believe that everything is
ok ... but it's not ... it's not ok. It's a rollercoaster of emotions
where you slowly start to feel better, and then, all of a sudden
you crash again. You rise and fall again and again, and you
cautiously wait ... knowing grief will keep revisting you, and you
must be ready for the next twist or turn and rise from each fall.

Meine Seele ist zutiefst verletzt,
